NOTE: CCSA Consultants have the right to refuse awarding certificates to participants who arrive late for training. Please ensure staff arrives on time and attends the full training session. 

Pre-registration and receipt of payment are required prior to participation in any CCSA course.

All CCSA health and safety courses can be modified to suit your needs. Please contact a Consultant for further information on your health and safety course customization and the related fees. For members not based in the Edmonton, courses can be delivered to you. Should you choose to attend Edmonton courses, there are accommodations available close to the CCSA office.

Workplace Inspections TTT

Course Length: 2 Days

Prerequisite(s): Workplace Inspections Workshop

**For all Train-the-Trainer courses, participants must have taken the corresponding workshop within 6 months.

Course Description

 The purpose of this course is to ensure that participants are well prepared to deliver the Workplace Inspection workshop at their workplaces.  There is a focus on facilitation basics including: Instructor preparation, introductory comments, how to set up the workshop exercises and key points to introduce.

There will be an opportunity to briefly review the workshop content which includes: types of workplace inspections, how to prepare for a workplace inspection, conducting a workplace inspection and corrective action and follow up, but the emphasis will be on practical, hands-on facilitation training.

Participants will be asked to present the workshop content throughout the course.  We provide a safe learning environment where participants can receive feedback from their peers. . This course will provide participants with the knowledge and confidence required to deliver the workshop content to co-workers in their facilities.

Additionally, participants are provided with the tools required to deliver the workshop content, including: online access to the participant’s manual, the workshop PowerPoint/PowerPoint(s) and participant’s handouts or workbooks, as required, and a copy of the trainer’s manual, lesson plans and additional materials to support facilitation of the workshop.

Purpose

Workplace Inspections Train-the-Trainer is beneficial to those individuals who are responsible for delivering health and safety training programs in your facility.

Exercises

By providing a combination of class-room instruction, student participation, course work and presentation practice, we are able to provide a complete understanding of the requirements for delivering an effective Workplace Inspections training program.

Activities designed specifically for the train-the-trainer course are included to provide participants with the background information required to answer any question that may be asked during the delivery of the content workshop.
