Workplace Inspections - Train the Trainer

Course Description

This course instructs participants on facilitation basics including: Instructor preparation, introductory comments, how to set up the workshop exercises and key points to introduce.

In addition, this course provides an opportunity to review the workshop content which includes: types of workplace inspections, how to prepare for a workplace inspection, conducting a workplace inspection and corrective action and follow up.

Finally, this course provides an opportunity for participants to present some of the workshop content in a safe learning environment and receive peer feedback. We hope to provide the participants with the knowledge and confidence required to deliver the workshop content to co-workers in their facilities.

Additionally, participants are provided with the tools required to deliver the workshop content, including: the participant manual, the workshop PowerPoint presentation and sample forms and policies.

Purpose

Workplace Inspections Train-the-Trainer is beneficial to those individuals who are responsible for delivering health and safety training programs in your facility.

Exercises

By providing a combination of class-room instruction, student participation, course work and presentation practice, we are able to provide a complete understanding of the requirements for delivering an effective Workplace Inspections training program.

In addition to the exercises included in the workshop content, activities designed specifically for the train-the-trainer course have been added to provide participants with the background information required to answer any question that may be asked during the delivery of the content workshop.
