Workshop Description

Workplace inspections are a follow-up to the processes of hazard identification, assessment and control, and should be performed on a regular basis. This course will illustrate how an effective inspection program is essential to workplace health and safety. We provide comprehensive overviews of the methods if conducting workplace inspections, and provide any tools required to implement regular workplace inspections.

Purpose

A work place inspection is a "fact finding mission", rather than a fault finding exercise. The purpose of this workshop is to identify and correct unsafe acts and conditions to protect the health and safety of workers and prevent equipment and property damage.

  • Types of inspections
  • Inspection preparation
  • Conducting a workplace inspection
  • Inspection findings reporting
