Course Description
This course instructs participants on facilitation basics including: Instructor preparation, introductory comments, how to set up the workshop exercises and key points to introduce.
In addition, this course provides an opportunity to review the workshop content which includes: a comprehensive overview of the methods of hazard identification and assessment and how to effectively control workplace hazards.
Finally, this course provides an opportunity for participants to present some of the workshop content in a safe learning environment and receive peer feedback. We hope to provide the participants with the knowledge and confidence required to deliver the workshop content to co-workers in their facilities.
Additionally, participants are provided with the tools required to deliver the workshop content, including: the participant manual, the workshop PowerPoint presentation and sample forms and policies.
Purpose
Hazard Assessment and Control Train-the-Trainer is beneficial to those individuals who are responsible for delivering health and safety training programs in your facility.
Exercises
By providing a combination of class-room instruction, student participation, course work and presentation practice, we are able to provide a complete understanding of the requirements for delivering an effective Hazard Assessment and Control training program.
In addition to the exercises included in the workshop content, activities designed specifically for the train-the-trainer course have been added to provide participants with the background information required to answer any question that may be asked during the delivery of the content workshop.
